Students! If you park in the student parking lot, please remember to move your cars from the south side of the parking lot Every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. The Bengal Regiment Marching band rehearses from 4-7 and needs your help to have a clear parking lot. Athletes, please make sure to move your car before practices or before you leave for a game or meet. Cars need to be moved by 3:45 PM. Thank you!
Calling all Junior and Seniors interested in being Outdoor Lab Leaders this year! The two mandatory information sessions will be on Thursday, September 8 in the Lecture Center. You must attend either the 7:30am or 3:30pm session to be considered (even if you have been a leader in the past). See Mrs.Yantorni in the Counseling Office if you have any questions or concerns.
Are you in a car club and/or do you know anybody who restores old vehicles? Lakewood HS will be having our 2nd annual car show on Homecoming, which will be Friday, September 23rd. Tonight is the season opener for football. We face Arvada West at the NAAC stadium in Arvada. Lakewood is the away team, so sit on the east side. If your purchased an athletic pass but don't have the word "Athletics" on your ID badge, see Mrs. Boonstra for a sticker. Tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults.
We've had a great start to the sports season with wins across the board for various levels of boys tennis, boys golf, softball, boys soccer and volleyball. Keep it going Tigers!
Both J.V. and Varsity gymnastics team won their competition last night against Fort Morgan.
The Junior Varsity swept the events Jenna Landrum, Zardel Khauldunn, Kenna Mollndor, and Julia Marsh winning events. On varsity, junior Kiki Neff won every event.
